Asus are delaying there Full ATX maximus chipset possibly to fall in line for when the Gigabyte Sniper lines are released. Maybe later!

Please give us a link to your info on Z68 not being able to take an Ivy Bridge socket 1155 chip. Everything I have read has suggested that a bios update is all it will take to run ivy bridge on the Z68 platform

only if its not a gen3 board, as the gen3 boards have PCI 3.0

Along with Native USB 3.0 using an Intel chipset, which usually means much better performance.

the cheaper onces its expected, but I perfer the looks/colour of the z68 like the UD4 for example. Still a nice looking board but nothing compared with the ASrock this time around

If you already have a Z68 board there is next to no reason to upgrade, save your cash and put it elsewhere.

Asus have their Z68 bios updates out, I updated mine last night.

I agree im not even interested in changing from z68 as it would be money down the drain so built a HTPC instead Will upgrade next year maybe.
