everyone i seem to speak to is like " omg zetec ".....er what does a zetec even do? in technical terms not just, "it makes your car faster"

pinkaardvark said:Zetec as mentioned was an engine name, then became a trim level. Duratec originally applied to the Ford V6's and was and still is an engine name. The St170 engine in the focus also got called the duratec(am i right in thinking that is a straight 5 cyl engine) then ford just started calling everythinh that wasn't a diesel duratec hence the label on your fester.
