It is pretty dumb, they could look at solving the issue via inheritance tax on farms (which perhaps could be mitigated via giving the state a stake in the farm) and use the funds for compulsory purchases at market rates if desired. It doesn't make much sense though for the economy to potentially destroy established/successful farming operations.
Also it obviously gets people worked up easily because they can go for the whole black white thing, ignoring perhaps that a lot of blacks aren't exactly native to the area either but descended from more recent arrivals/war like tribes who'd have been even more violent and brutal than the colonisers they dislike so much, albeit without the technology/resources to project power.
Also it isn't as though this sort of thing doesn't exist in other countries, the U.K. itself wasn't a very equal place until relatively recently, we've got a royal family, aristocracy etc...
50% of Scotland is owned by less than 500 people... if they were mostly light skinned and the average person there dark skinned then perhaps the whole identity/race thing would come into play there too, but instead it is much less visible to the man in the street.
Trying to take stuff away without compensation because some group is seen as both privileged and a problem is a dangerous path. Jews in Germany and elsewhere were seen as disproportionately successful, wealthy etc... and resentment was generated towards them, it's not a good situation to create.
imagine a world where africa as a continent could get it's act together and unite as a nation without all the tribal politics.
they could be a world superpower if they got their **** together.
Black Panther is just a movie.
