Zombie attack - what weapon would you use?

I'm not a big fan of Zombie films but I have enjoyed The Walking Dead series.
Ever since it started I have always wondered what weapon I would use faced in a similar situation and I always pick a Samurai sword like the coloured chick in the series.
I can't see any weapon being better than this because even if you've got 20 coming at you at 1mph you should still be able to bury it in all their skulls but armed with a gun you could easily run out of bullets.

Apologies for the Kwerk/Magnolia type post but would you talk me out of the sword and suggest something better?

Sword, but possibly of a shorter, heaver broader type than a samurai sword which would likely get stuck in bone and sinew too easily, leaving you vulnerable. Perhaps a machete or broad-bladed wood axe as well.
 
A spork, that way you can take them down in one fell swoop then scoop their brains out for nourishment.

Crowbar, it doubles as a tool

Swords, axes and guns as good as they look they require too much maintenance and are liable to break with under extended use without it, plus guns are totally reliant on ammunition supplies.

I would want a few tbh, melee weapon, selection of knives, selection of swords (broad sword, samurai) hand gun, automatic assault rifle.......

It's my game and I've moved the goalposts - you only get one weapon.
