Zombies + Plants = win

You can get a load of money from the ol zen garden by selling fully grown plants (except for marigolds, cheap buggers), 10k a plant, should solve most of your problems.

I've been concentrating on the Zen Garden with my cash, which may not have been the best plan.

Same here :p

I'm impressed with how much gameplay they've chucked in for ~£6.. after completing the main section, I've spent hours doing the mini-games :)

i havent got round to using garlic much yet, think i might have done on one of the mini game rounds, im guessing pogos can bounce over it, vehicles and gargantuars can crush it etc?

Indeed (though I've not tested it as thoroughly as I'd like to). For most low-mid level stuff though, it kicks arse :)

Just a headsup..

The saved games location for this game is all whack.
Does it save in My Documents? No. Does it save in My Games? No. Does it save in Appdata, Applocal, or even the game's root directory? Hell no!

Your saved games are in a hidden 'ProgramData' folder, on your system's root.

Now I've got to play it all again from scratch, my poor Zen Garden :*(

Odd, i've transferred the main game directory twice from my pc to laptop to pc and back again and it seems to save. Then again I've transferred from xp to 7 on my pc and it hasn't...

So it's a Windows 7 issue? Something I'll keep in mind as I was planning on changing over to w7 pretty soon...

To be honest, this game would be perfectly suited to make use of a steam-cloud like save game feature. It's casual enough that I wouldn't mind playing it in work during my lunch break.

@uv - would you like a copy of my save? Or I guess you can get Flib's. I've completed most stuff... Though I've been somewhat ruthless about selling plants in my ZG.

loads of people with save game issues, had mine reset a few times :(

I downloaded the demo this morning to see what all the fuss was about. I kept playing forgetting it was a timed demo. So when the message popped up saying my time was up, it was an instant purchase as very few games keep me entertained for that long. And for £6.99 it would be rude not to. ;)

I can see it getting a bit repetitive as the same strategy always seems to work for me, but I suppose that will change as I move through the game.
