ZX Touch

I have not seen that but i do remember the other one that was on kickstarter or some other funding site that my friend took to court and won in a landmark ruling as the "product" was never delivered and their listing stated that he was purchasing an item not funding the development that you might get a product at the end of it.

To be honest though this may look great but does it do anything that cant be done on a Ambernic RG Cube at £50?

The Ambernic (£160 odd new) looks to be more of a console emulator. This ZX Touch has more featured geard toward the Speccy, particularly the on-screen keyboard input required for many games, whereas I didn't see any mention of that on the Ambernic's site.

My biggest concern is how well that ministick will hold up to the abuse of Daley Thompson's DECATHLON!!! :D

Yeah, i did see that and it had some good features. To be fair tho you could easily do similar with a tablet, cheap mobile phone or chromebook. All much cheaper and multifunctional.

I understand its an extremely niche product and it looks well executed however its very expensive for what it is but then again although i grew up with ZXSpectrum(As if you couldnt tell lol) i dont have great nostalgia that i have for Arcades machines or Consoles.

BTW i meant the RG CubeXX which is about £50.

As an original Speccy user with a broken Kempston joystick, I could never play a Speccy game without a keyboard. ZXPLSpace ftw!

Totally different from the OP device but there are Speccy Nexts and N-Gos out there which provide a far better and more realistic Speccy experience
