Taiwanese/Chinese... Same thing no?
I've been called Korean, Taiwanese, Malaysian, even half english before

I am however, paler and abnormally taller than the average chinese which does make it slightly harder to guess my ethnicity

I would think so, but non chinese people tend to get offended if you call them Chinese. They like to feel different or something.

Then again, Ive actually been called caucasian once, and that person couldnt believe that I was Indian and not eastern european or something lol.

What I find is westerners don't have the knack for judging people from Asia in general. To them, anyone Orient = Chinese, anyone East Asian looking = Indian. I've met Russians called Chinese because she looks borderline Orient, despite her bloodline is at least 4 generation Russians (apparently her eyes is a give away as Chinese!)

Ask an average Joe off the street if they think Michael McIntyre is Chinese (or descendent of one), you'll see my point.

I was planning on taking my missus to the new one in Stratford City but she wasn't too keen. How was the food generally?

The food was good! I had the cockles linguine for my main and it was delicious. Would recommend and I would deffo go there again
