What are you going to do with those 3 years??? Seems like it's actually worth the money to squeeze in 3 years of earnings!!
Actually scrub that - simply having a more powerful pc would mean I use it more. Not having a powerful pc means I just don't 'try' - so I can save money, and time.

(See how I'm talking myself out of envy here - convinced?)

its a shame theres a movie called lifemark
might cause a bit of a legal issue there?
but you could tweak the name
then actually make and sell your benchmark/lifemark
youre totally correct though
whatever benchmark people run
the results are literally the better the result the more time
you will save
if you use it for work/receive any sort of financial benefit
then that time saved is worth the cost of the new pc
though maybe that bit could also be included somehow in the lifemark?
pc cost xxxxx
time saved yyyy
actual value of the cost vs time saved =zzzz
or something like that lol

still got pneumonia brains half functional
so probably that made no sense
but another great video well done

Booo and I was going to dig out my Hercules 3d Prophet Kyro 2 but I think he has me beaten by about 3 years.

I'm think it's still in a box somewhere but I'm pretty sure it's fried after my first venture into overclocking went a bit sideways. Woooo 99fps on CS....what's that smell....black screen....****, Still it was an excuse to upgrade to a radeon 9800.

Goodness me that new CNC took longer than I thought (blame Brexit!)

Right all set up and back on track! Tackled the fiddly bits - sensors and control panel in the next build video:

Hope you like!

Been waiting to see
What you would do next
That certainly didn't disappoint
Both from the aesthetics of your panel design
And it's functionally

My only wish if I had that
Would be the panel could pop up,
Angle and rotate
Laying flat on top of the pc
Isn't ideal unless the pc is in a very specific place

Awesome! Been hoping for another update to this build but didn't want to hassle you for it :D
The depth you've gone to with the automation stuff is astounding! Really cool.

I'm guessing the screen is just an HDMI in? - Been considering one for an OBS monitor (or just PC metrics when not recording stuff), but want to integrate it as cleanly as possble without loads of extra cables... thinking maybe somewhere in my case (Enthoo Primo so thiking about either the HDD rack, visible through the little window, or carving out the 5.25" door)... I'll probably never get around to it in all honesty!

Hey, yes it's actually something I'm mulling now. It wasn't part of the original design concept, but it'd be super easy to have a magnetic mount so you could detach, tilt and then even put on your desk if you fancied! I might muse this!
