I thought he was pretty well regarded.

I think people are gonna complain about test results no matter who tests stuff.
I saw one or 2 reviews talking about pump noise on the Arctic coolers making it not as quiet as a good air cooler. So while measurable noise results may make it look a bit better it might not be.

Shouldn't be difficult to get a few samples and listen by ear for any irritating noises along with the test results to put in with the review.

We're pretty outrageous
Even though I never know if I spelled derbuaer
Correctly lol
I respect the guy
I can't see him making any silly mistakes
In his testing
Looks like they're arriving in the hands of more
Reviewers now
So I guess it's just down to more results
From different people
And see what they show

The tests weren't conducted under exact same
Set of conditions
Or that they tested pre production models
But my money is on derbuaer results
Being the correct ones

Jayz2cents had these yesterday or earlier
Yet he didn't actually test them
At least in the video I saw
Was more of an unboxing and look at them
Which seemed peculiar to me
Why no tests

Yeah I agree - most probably Derbauer results are correct. The delta between his and igors is too large to just argue "different conditions". I feel cheated as I almost ordered these fans.

See what other reviewers say. But yeah it does seem like they aren't as good as claimed.

There's still the Airjet coolers which will probably be scaled up and mostly take over from needing regular fans.

Not surprised by these results at all, it was always too good to be true. We're at the peak of pc fan technology, besides making them thicker 25mm to 30mm i don't think we're gonna see any major improvements.

I'm still buying these fans regardless, purely on aesthetics to finish my build .

Been on the trigger to ordering these to tidy up the backside of the build, i know what i need and what i need to do but is it worth spending another £50 or so to do it. Some nice Alphacool bits.
