Nope.

Delivery is guaranteed next day from despatch, so that service will still stand. :)

Of course forum members meeting the criteria will still get free delivery.

I've got over 250 posts but have only been a member since July 30th 2013.

By the time these ship i'll be mere days away from the 'criteria', any chance of knocking off the delivery costs for a first-time buyer? :D

Thing is, a lot of these cards are fine now and for the next 12 months at 1080p.

But if texture resolution starts getting bigger, even 1080p with all the bells and whistles might need a bit more grunt.

Maybe the 290 (non x) would keep you going for 2-3 years...

Doing some maths now...

I already have 2x 7950s + I7 3770k and a Sabertooth Z77, so I can't go trifire (actually I already tried, It works but because the 3rd slot is pci-e 2.0 4x the performance increase of the 3rd card is not that good)
I'm gaming at 5760x1080

Option 1:
2x R290X, so let's say £1000.00 - 300.00 (that I can sell my 2x 7950s) I would end up spending £700.00.

Option 2:
Upgrade my CPU, MB, PSU and add one more 7950 = 4930K + 2011MB + 1000W psu + msi 7950 = £1020.00 - £420.00 (from my 3770k, MB and old PSU) I would end up spending £600.00

Option 3:
Wait 20nm :D

option 4
sell both 7950 for 300. grab a 7990 and a 7970.

effectively what i have done :p

How long between the price and specs being revealed and it being despatched do we have to make up our mind as to whether we think it's worth it? Also what if we have a preference of brand due to warranty e.t.c?

Good question. Is this BF4 edition going to be spread across various manufacturers?
