Urgh, this is making me re-consider the GS7 now....

Looking at androidpolice, there are a ton of nice additions, even getting some screen calibration controls!

Absolute joke that the GS 6 is only really starting to get MM now.

EDIT:

Just seen this:

Hopefully something will come of it, android updates when it comes to OEM phones has sucked for too long now

Just read up on the features the N previews have, is Google trying to kill off the reasons to root? Either way it seems to be a very good direction Google is taking with Android, that's a lot of power options.

Don't worry I'm sure you'll get it on the S7 in 12 months or so! :D
But yes that bottom article is very interesting and a long overdue potential fix to the classic android problem.

Running it for about 1 hour, its a bit buggy things don't always work e.g took me several tries too turn on night mode. But overall its smooth, very fast, animations are great, and all the new features look awesome. Excited too see more, and will report after a full day of use.

Maybe we'll finally get a reboot option in the power menu...?!

Sadly not there yet.

To an earlier post I admit Lollipop was too rushed & should have been held back but Marshmallow has been awesome on my Nexus 6 not a problem at all. So far N is a step up in terms of features I just hope some of them are refined before release, especially Developers stepping up to support the new stuffs.

Are you using it as your daily? I'm very tempted to do the same but feel it will be better to wait a bit as its my daily phone.

Yeah, granted I'm a bit stupid and can't wait. So far its been fine, its a tad buggy at times but its most UI bugs, e.g I hit the app drawer and it only goes half way but then its fine a 2nd try. I wouldn't recommend it but so far its been fine. Battery life seems decent too 2.5h SoT and around 45%. Interested too see what the new Doze does for battery.

Make sure you enable the option to unlock bootloader before taking an OTA on this. It's caused a bootloop on some devices which can't be fixed so it essentially bricks phones.
