Odyssey for single player, if you want local multiple player then you're spoilt for choice. Mario Bros, Wonder and 3D World to name a few platformers, and Mario Kart 8 is perfect for local MP.
Wonder is brilliant on two players. Me and the misses, who is not much of a gamer, were constantly laughing playing it.

More trickling info. Grain of salt as usual but improving on the analog sticks and noisy HD rumble seems sensible given how bad they were over the lifetime of the Switch.
Not sure that sounds exciting at all tbh.

It doesn't really need to be exciting though? Just needs to be the same but with much more power than the current (ancient) SoC. Maybe they can think a little about ergonomics this time, but... Meh.

Any brands you recommend for SD cards? Planning to buy one for my nephew who has a Switch Lite, and has never had extra storage. Imagine how crammed full his Switch is!

Also going to be ordering Endless Ocean Luminous soon on the eshop when it's released in a few days!

Anyone else thinking of picking this up?

New console inbound!

Nintendo President has just confirmed the successor to the Switch will be arriving before 31 March 2025

Start saving those pennies

The wording from Nintendo is interesting; they are not simply saying "new console" but specifically saying it's the successor to the Switch; which means we can start to make some guesses about how the new Nintendo console will work, for example it's most likely a handheld device again

This is Furukawa, President of Nintendo. We will make an announcement about the successor to Nintendo Switch within this fiscal year. It will have been over nine years since we announced the existence of Nintendo Switch back in March 2015. We will be holding a Nintendo Direct this June regarding the Nintendo Switch software lineup for the latter half of 2024, but please be aware that there will be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successor during that presentation.

We will make an announcement about the successor to Nintendo Switch within this fiscal year.

Not released, just an announcement? People are gonna be upset if that announcement isn't that it'll be on sale pretty much immediately

OG switched launched in a March so why not this too

Just pointing out that all they've said is that they'll make an announcement this financial year, not necessarily release.

Given people on here were predicting that it would be some kind of disaster for Nintendo if they didn't launch the next console in 2024, they'll be prophesising the end of the world if all we get by March 2025 is an announcement it's going to be released for Christmas 2025 or something like that
