Those Coldsun packs - just gives every female NPC sameface.

On an unrelated note, I would recommend the 'Wildlander' mod package. A set of over 500 mods that are all just plug and play, everything is configured already. Been having a blast.

OK please help a poor soul before Christmas. And given a hopefully long Xmas break I thought I might play a bit.

I haven't played Skyrim in 2 years I guess but before that I had Vortex set up and Skyrim SKSE. Skyrim SKSE I should be able to update easily enough but I've totally forgotten how to use Vortex can anyone point me in the direction of a good primer. I've only got 12 mods but some need updating and they download as Zips to my download file and for the life of me I though Vortex looked after the updating but plainly I'm wrong.

Give me the Adventurer's tent any day.
I find it practical due to the amount of travelling you have to do and the fact that if you're carrying to much looted gear to flog you can just conjure the said tent and put the looted gear into storage. I use the adventurer's tent as a mobile base and resupply point and have the advantage of setting it up anywhere there's enough room.
Believe me, it's a very handy mod.

What I hate about mods (not the Quadrophenia parka and scooter type):-
1. some DON'T work at all.
2. some're good for a laugh for a short while.
3. Some of them break the game so you can't continue or even play the game at all.
4. You have to go through all your mods to find out which ones break the game or cause it to crash.

Still annoyed I forgot to backup the last version of my config and forgot it resets it in GPU/driver change... had it stable with grids active to the horizon and high quality assets to the horizon but can't replicate it again (also breaks old saves) and can't remember exactly how I'd tweaked it.
