So after chatting to a fellow forumer who sold an Asus Titan X on the bay for £800 I'm considering selling 1 or both of mine.
What I'm asking is do you think mine are worth more because they have backplates and hybrid coolers, would you put the original coolers back on and sell the coolers separately?

I might not sell I just like the idea of getting a lot of the money back I paid while the prices are good. I think I either sell 1 or both now and have something small untill Big pascal (I'm not gaming much atm) or keep them for 2 more years.

I am gaming loads and tempted to sell but part of me is thinking it won't be worth jumping on early Pascal but I could get back pretty much what I paid, so it is very tempting. Maybe a 970/390 will tide me over till big Pascal. Such a hard decision and I am lazy lol.

I've just taken 1 out to see how I cope with just 1. I'll try and leave it out for a few days and if it doesn't really impact my gaming I may as well sell 1, I won't be getting early pascal, it'll be the biggest they have.

Yer, I only want bigger Pascal but the Ti replacement instead of Titan. I need to be a bit tighter on computer purchases this and next year.

I expect you will find 1 card less powered but generally smoother.

Got to say I thought the same. My monitor broke so I treated myself to an X34 G-Sync jobby. Lovely monitor btw. 1 Titan X copes really well at 3440x1440 with G-Sync and I was about to put the other one up for sale. However with 2 of them my lord the G-sync is even better. Really did not think I would notice but the difference between SLI and single is very apparent with G-sync enabled.

So it is not going anywhere just now.

Let me know how it goes. I've done some test and i found it okay..
But really not been playing much AAA games just older less demanding games

The LED cooler was a free gift from EVGA, it goes with the Hybrid cooler.

Seems these LED coolers and backplates are sold out everywhere..
I would like a backplate.. Do they cool the card better or is it just for looks?

I found no difference between backplate vs without in terms of cooling. It does make the card easier to handle though as you're not touching bare PCB.

They do look cool.. Wish they stocked them in the UK/EU
I should have bought one when they was in stock last year..

But guys dose this not tell use the new cards are not far off as they have stopped stocking T-Xs and there parts

I'm probably skipping this generation. From what I've read, Pascal isn't going to give me anything I don't already have. Next year, I can see myself buying a new DP 1.3 / superMHL monitor and the upgraded GPU to support it.
