Quite tempted by the MBA but I think I'd rather save by picking up an M2 and upgrading the storage and RAM; really unimpressed with the Windows Ultrabook offerings at this point

It’s a shame they’re still selling it, and the new m3 version, with 8gb RAM and charging £200 to upgrade to 16Gb.

It’s a cracking laptop but IMO it should really come with 16Gb minimum in 2024.

Yes it's a shame, but if you got 8GB of RAM and drive one daily, you'll soon realise that for day to day tasks (browsing, YT, Office etc) it really doesn't matter. I'd have zero hesitation buying another Air with 8GB of RAM.

Have an M2 base model arriving today with student discount got it for £899. Trading in my 2020 air for £310.
Could probably have got more selling it private but you then have to deal with will you take 200 for it mate,whats your lowest price etc

I've sold a couple of Apple laptops on the MM here, priced them realistically and they've both sold at my asking price.
