It's been a long season with 22 races and I think it'll be interesting to see which race people enjoyed the most (assuming you can remember back to the start of the season).

For me it was Las Vegas. Yes, the build up and the amount of money spent was ridiculous and they got far too much wrong there but looking past all that, I thought it was a great race and it's one I'm looking forward to next year.

Here's all the race threads so you can easily look back.

The season has turned in to a grey mush for me when I try to picture it. I've gone for Monza, but remember the Austrian and Dutch GPs being decent too.
Feel like the Australian one was good, but then they messed it all up with their comical red flag nonsense. Genuinely don't remember... :|

I guess there will be a few like me, where they can only remember the later races.

Or the opposite, like me, who got bored and stopped dedicating 2 or 3 hours of my Sunday to watching the races live halfway through the season.

Singapore is one of the few that sticks out for me, some Safety Car madness that led to Hamilton and Russell charging down the lead cars, only to see Sainz cleverly let Norris into his DRS range and frustrate their progress, then Russell to bin it right at the last.

First time since the 80s that I couldn't actually recall a single race. I may have watched a bit of some races, but this season was just a total write-off.

The awful racing from these ***** cars is just about tolerable when there's a bit of competition, but with Verstappen so dominant, there's no point watching.

Enjoyed Vegas as well. Should be even better next year with the Gremlins ironed out [hopefully]

Singapore was the best of a bad bunch for me. 4 cars going at it on the last lap. Sainz giving Lando DRS to ward off the Mercs. Russell binning it under pressure.

Lost interest towards the end of the season and hardly watched the final handful of races.

Edit: Almost word for word what Kenai said above

Singapore because there wasn’t a RB on the podium. Obvs ;)

But no really, as above it had real drama - and real racing for actual podium spots.

The rest have honestly blurred into one as others have said. A thoroughly dull season. Could have been saved if Hamilton was racing Perez for p2 but obviously the FIA wanted to stick their oar in and ruin that. Meh.

The main interest was seeing how teams evolved throughout the season. Aston Martin and McLaren were standouts, and Ferrari seemed to find something near the end so hopefully they carry that into next season.

Was also fun seeing which drivers really earned their seats. Alonso and Piastri were great this year; Charles and Albon also putting in the work. Max obviously but he’s just on another level. On the flip side, definitely some drivers who didn’t earn their keep.

Singapore or Las Vegas.
But I have a terrible memory for f1. So it's hard to recall early stuff.

I completely forgot. About Abu Dhabi until Monday. Shame I didn't forget completely! :D

Not sure if this is accurate.
But seems like the f1 part of the forum is in decline. Despite audiences being up globally.

I'm certainly not invested anymore. I would no longer pay to watch it. It's not really worth it to me.

Losing access to f1tv was quite a big moment of disconnection. But I'm glad of it as not sure I'd have got rid by choice.

If f1 tv came back for cost of 8ppm I wouldn't get it again.

To be fair it's not surprising that interest here declined now that a non British driver dominates and imo partly explains global rise as it was boring seeing merc winning most races for 8 seasons. I don't mind team dominate for 2-3 seasons but any more than that my interest in F1 drops.

I'd imagine once either Lewis, George or Lando get a car that can challenge every race that more people will come here.

Also the way some posters behaved here in the past didn't help, I remember years ago duese being particularly an unpleasant poster and I barely came in here because of that.

For me I couldn't care less. But yeah for many I suspect it is that support.

This season has been dire up front too. And if MV wasn't in it it would have been a cracker up front.
I think for me I I know the team I support will probably never get a WCC and that's a big part of it.

But yeah. I'm just growing out of it. Not having anyone in real life to chat about it to also doesn't help. A lot because it's not on free to air.

Yeh, i am not paying a penny for F1 in its current state.

Honestly, i'm not sure their rule changes work. Just seems to change who the dominant team is, just when the field starts getting competitive. One team always seems to nail a new set of rules and it takes ages for the rest to catch up.

For all the high hopes, expectation and praise these latest regs got, ultimately it has resulted in perhaps the most dominant/one sided season ever (not helped by Perez being ****, but still).

I agree with all of this.

This season was written off after a few races once it proved that RB was untouchable and Perez wouldn't give us a semi-interesting intra-team battle. I am a LH fan so I enjoyed the Mercedes domination years but even during the most dominating period of 2014/2015/2016 at least there was Nico to keep things interesting along with RB or Ferrari getting the odd wins and then 2017/2018 (or was it 18/19) being exciting because Mercedes and Ferrari were closely matched.

This year the race result was pretty much sealed up before the first practice session even started.
