C4 should be competitive in terms of brightness at this point especially vs a gen 1 panel.
In whites, yes. But there will be a loss in colour volume

If only Samsung would release S90c or s95c in 40-42 inch or Alienware would release 38-39 inch 21:9 qd oled monitor. That is why I am hesitant - the loss of color volume and brightness, also highlights won't be as bright on C4 42 inch as on my DW.
I think they might be using woled panels though, official details are sketchy https://www.oled-info.com/samsungs-...to reports from Korea, its S90D OLED TV series.Aren't Samsung releasing 42" and 48" panels on their latest line-up?
ahh I see that (according to the article) - so the panel will be pretty much the same as an lg (which I have a c2 currently). Thanks too bad as I have a s90c as my main tv (movie watching) and the colors are much better on it then my lgc2.I think they might be using woled panels though, official details are sketchy https://www.oled-info.com/samsungs-upcoming-s90d-oled-tv-lineup-will-feature-displays-utilizing-both#:~:text=According to reports from Korea, its S90D OLED TV series.
I first ordered my DW in March 2022 and got it delivered in August 2022. It seems logical to assume that my warranty lasts until August 2025, right? Is there any way I can confirm it? (purchased directly from Dell in my country)
I have installed the latest firmware (M3B107) - no issues, everything continuing to work well.
Going to have to update the firmware on mine, not done that in a while. I really hope nothing breaks, as that would be a nightmare.
Believe me it is, silky smooth! 240 certainly not worth paying nearly double imo.I don't really play fps so 165htz is enough!
nopeHave there been any more firmware updates for the DW (since the first one they released) - I can still hear my fan at times.
