ok so I want to start eve, what / where is best tutorial to get me up to speed, I tried the demo lst year but didn't stick with it as I was lost aws aI skipped tutorial

Errr you skipped the Tutorial in the Demo...well there was your mistake, no wonder you got lost....and for trying the game again....DO the tutorial...its the best start in the game...and the only interactive tutorial..it teaches you basics of the UI, well everything to use EvE...even get a few items and some ISK at the end of it, to get you on your way...
 
The tutorial's been revamped again, too... When I started it was still a bit too long, not to mention a bit flakey, but it's better now. THe old one, by all accounts, sucked.

Eve's a fine big complicated game, which is why we like it. It takes longer to learn to play poker than snap :D Also, it does help to keep the eejits down.
 
The new tutorial is far better, you get free ships and modules etc. and its decidably more intresting than the old one.

privateers are noobs, a lone crow engaged my sleipner :p sticked around for 3 seconds until it had no shields and warped off lol
 
So i don't seem to be able to select AA and Ansio settings in this game. I've tried forcing it in the Nvidia control panel but that doesn't seem to work either.

Any tips ?

aye crows are annoying, which is why I fly one, perma run mwd at 7km/s + :(

really love the look of the minnie cs' I fly the Eos and Vulture, the Eos is ok the Vulture is meh in pvp. Was the best ship ever in missions.

I was able to sit in the bonus room of Angels Extrav 4 with everything on me and I could sit at 100% shield perma running a gist c large / gist b hardeners / 3 warfare links.
