Fairplay... Fileplanet are so dumb putting Question marks by the release date for the beta to build up tension. Crysis the game is released next month so why would they release the Beta after the game is released...

There seems to be a performance boost in vista if you go to your "games" folder and right click the crysis icon and tell it to run in dx10 mode.

what was the vista vs xp performance like already?
Thats what i want to hear, dx10 offering better performance since thats was one of the mian features of it

Well the beta is only DX9, so XP will have better performance than Vista.

Really really hope that they aren't giving up on it, if it isn't in Beta and it's set for a November launch, there might be a problem. But oh well, this is a fileplanet beta, which is usually meant more for gaming than actual testing.

Vista has been pretty much on par with XP for a while now in the majority of games IIRC. :eek:

Talrinys, the game is Dx10, they can't give up on Vista.
