I've always pronounced it ge-ah 
No idea if that's correct or not but hell, s'what everyone round here says

So, Zetec is pronounced "Zee Tech", right?
How is "Ghia" pronounced? I always thought it was similar to "Gear" but I've heard it spoken as "Gaia"?
One's slang for drugs, t'other's a Goddess.

If you pronounce them exactly the same then you cannot pronounce your words correctly. That's the silly English accent for you

Its either you being NIrish, myself being english, or either local dialect maybe
Looking at that, you pronounce the end of "gear" with an "err" ? Which I dont, i pronounce it with more of an "a"

.. but if i were to do a spanish impression, thats how I would say "gear" or "ghia" I always thought the Ghia models were the luxury end of ford cars.
Softer seats, more features inside the car etc...
And i pronounce it Gee-Ah, but sometimes it does sound like Gear, thats accents for you, i dont even have one!
