can you type a whole sentence without lookng?

To be honest, I thinkg I spend most of my time typing without looking at the keyboard... but I do program during the say, so...

I'm typing this post with my eyes shut - I'm pretty sure I've mis-spelt "day". And maybe "pretty" too.

*opens eyes*

Ah pretty was aright, I did misspell "day" though. Didn't notice me put the g on think... and I misspelt "mis-spelt" as I couldn't see Firefox's spell checker :p

No i don't. I don't see the point in these courses, I've been using computers since i was about 3 and now I never look at the keyboard, just stare at the monitor usually. Usually my eyes start to hurt though. :(

I can usually watch the TV and type out long paragraphs of text without looking :)

It's mostly without mistakes, apart from the stray space.

Yes of course I can, I spend enough time at a keyboard so it'd be pretty sad if I couldn't.

Same here, but I guess it's sad we spend so much time at it :p Lose lose.

Edit: anyone got an online test for this and words per minute?

Yep not the fastest in the world, but been typing for about 27 years. No need to look at keyboard. I have one of those Microsoft Natural keyboards at work and a Saitek gaming one at home, but have no problem shifting between the two. There didn't look at keyboard once during typing this.

I got from AZERTY at work to QWERTY at home only takes a few sentences to adjust. And yes I don't look at keys when typing in forums but for the life of me I cannot type and not look at the screen having to retype someone elses letters.

Can't explain it I just have to keep checking the screen.

People come to my office when I typing a letter (with my thoughts not someone else's and are amazed that I can talk to them and still type.
