F1 2007/2008 Winter Testing and Rumours

Had had a few runs in a Jordan a few years ago if memory serves, and didn't overly impress.

He has been consistently there or there abouts in the F1 feeder series though.

He's the current GP2 champion but (and this isn't a reflection on Glock himself) there have consistently been comments that the standard of GP2 this year hasn't been to the same level as the last few years.

You're right it was 2004. He finished 11th in Canada, but was promoted to 7th after Williams and Toyota were disqualified.

In the same year he drove the final three races in place of Giorgio Pantano, and finished 15th in all.

In a race situation it's probably only
Fisi
Barrichello
Ralf
Trulli
DC
Wurz
Button
Heidfeld

Of those 2, possibly 3 won't be racing next year. Additionally Webber will have briefly tested pre TC cars.

Whilst not F1 the current crop of exGP2 drivers also have extensive race experience of driving pretty powerful cars (and on carp tyres) without traction control.

He shall be staying with Red Bull Racing. I believe their driver line up will remain unchanged. It looks like they are looking for consistency, rather the McLaren approach of late, to chop and change drivers ever year. ;)

Rumour has it that Mclarens appeal has today been rejected ...now let get on with the racing and try and forget about the court stuff.

That would be good news. TBH if ruled in favor of McLaren, not good for the sport nor Lewis's (promising) career :(

A decision was expected today, but as yet, no news. I think we all know though, they cannot crown Hamilton the world champion. The appeal procedure was essentially a matter of course for McLaren, without any real meaning or purpose - they just went through the motions. If they did not appeal, then in years to come, people may well ask why McLaren never appealed; was it because they did not want Hamilton to win?

Can't say I'm surprised or disappointed. At the end of the day the championship has been won by the guy who won the most races which is as it should be.

Not surprised at all. But what was there outcome?

It doesn't really say what fia decided.

Did they find bmw/williams guilty of anything?
Ignore it?
or throw the case out on technicalities?
