Everyone has had their mistakes. What people forget is that if a striker messes up, they don't score.

If the midfield messes up the play isnt made/it falls back to the defence/possession is lost.

If the defence messes up, theres still the keeper.

If the keeper messes up, it's nearly always a goal, and they get ten times the stick for it.

Yeah, keepers are the safety net, and they shouldnt be, a striker can go 20-30 games without scoring, get a bit of publicity, score and everything will be fine...

If a keeper messes up 2-3 times hes out..

Keepers have the whole preasure..

seaman was very good and martyn was very good, martyn wasn't helped by the fact seaman kept his place a couple of years too long. Robinson is normally 'steady' but god knows what's happened to him recently.
