Mine was fine for the first assassination, then on leaving for the second I froze up at the loading screen requiring me to hard reset the power on the PS3 which was quite scary.
Since then I've had three freezes at completely random times requiring me to power off the PS3 but at least it responded to the power button and actually shutdown unlike the first time.
I've now put it down and won't be touching it till its patched.

Ah great just when I thought mine was ok, I have just finished the first assassination well post back if/when I come across any problems. I have had a few games games that have locked up on me, the most pertinent being GT5 prologue, but later found the crashing problems were associated with downloading items off the PSN whilst playing the game.

Is anyone else finding a few tearing/FPS problems whilst playing this game on PS3? I have had a few issues so far luckily its not detracting from the game too much.

None what so ever. I had my first crash today on booting the PS3 up/loading AC at the level i turned it off at last night. I was in limbo on the loading part just running around for ages, shut the game down and my PS3 rebooted. Loaded up straight away after no problems since.

I'm really enjoying it so far, trying to find the flags on the first map etc. Did anyone bother with them or just play through the game?
 
This game is seriously flippin annoying the **** off me now:mad:. Been stuck for the past few hrs at the stupid robert assassination...now no matter what the **** i do, i cant seem to beat the buggers...either they disappear into the bit where im blocked off from and when they do that, they have a tendancy to cheat a bit ie come out from the blocked out bit and hit u....cant even really block them as they seem to get through the blocks pretty easily...bloody templars are a pain in the ass as they seem to get past my counters....i swear this game is going to be the death of me:p.
So any ideas...ive tried blocking, countering and dodging but christ almighty these buggers just seem to beat me pretty easily.

I ran round i circles while my health regenerated :o

Thinks its only chekcpoint saves if i remember correctly..sucks really...this game isnt appealing to me that much anymore...which is a shame...too many niggles i have with it. Stupid collectors edition i got...cant even trade it in now:mad::(

LOL yeh tried that but i dont know maybe my enemy AI is too smart as they seem to block off my runs....:(

I officially hate this game with a vengeance...theres no way im going back over to get the missing achievements lol
 
What a truely beautifull looking game ruined by some shoddy controls and poor combat system. I'm not sure I can be bothered to continue through it TBH :(
 
This game is pathetically repetitive, i've done the exact same thing for the first 4 assassinations and theres is only one button used when using a sword, this game is such a let down. I'm going to sell it, completing it wouldn't be fun at all.

Yup at first i gave it a 9/10 but now it wouldnt get more than a 4 or a 5 max...this game is just so stupid at times...boring isnt the word. Took me nearly 3 hrs to finish off Robert and now i cant even get close to the last guy....what a waste of a beautiful game. Crappy control system is the worst ive ever seen on a game...too clunky and far too slow to react..what a waste of money as far as im concerned.

Too damn fustrating for my liking...the last guy to kill is near impossible...for some odd freakin reason i keep getting my small blade out to fight him and changing over to the sword means i lose about 4-5 bars....****ing pathetic is all i have to say....not gonna bother with this anymore.

Time for some Kane and Lynch...even thats pretty shoddy as well but not as repetitve as this pile of crap.
 
Finally managed to kill him off:p....got him with an assassination so game over finally:p.

Ending was a bite dire to say the least...:/...guess having a pretty producer doesnt necessarily mean that its going to be a great game:p.
 
The setting is fantastic, the idea is fantastic. The excecution of the game is pathetic. They had a fantastic game idea and blew it imho. They could've got away with having one view point in each area but 12??? That gets old fast.

It's as thought they ran out of ideas of what to do in the game. I know rescue 12 lots of citizens and climb high 12 times.

Shrek 3 had more in depth combat.

A question, I did poor damascus, do I go back to the other areas later? (rich etc)

I'm 50/50 at the minute whether to carry on or just sell it or trade it.

The upshot is it looks very good and the idea and time setting is excellent, the downside is when you have done something 12 times you really dont need another 500.
 
Yeah, at the start only certain area of the cities are opened up to you.

I can't trade this in either as I got the statue with it :p Only way is Ebay really. But I don't hate it, its quite fun going back after finishing it to do the side missions i missed and i noticed killing citizens don't reduce health ! Now I can stab all those mentalist and Beggers, MUHAHAHAHA
