unless you have sex with someone regularly, you can't learn what it is that makes the other person really 'tick'.
Believe me, you can

I know what you're getting at though and agree.

Then why is adultery so common? Why did we invent matromony to "tie" us down? Why was it so acceptable for aristocrats to have many mistresses despite being married? Why do we still find other people attractive when involved with someone? If it isn't natural, we wouldn't get the urges.O RLY? Since when were you a professor on the subject?
In nature very rarely do you get males that go from one female to another mating and then leaving them in a mammalian species that only produce a single offspring.

what are your views on having a casual arrangement of basically sex with no strings attached.

Immature.
Not true, it happens more with people aged in their 30s - hardly immature then, besides the sex is better as you get older!![]()
You can care for more than one person. I've been there before :/Well, I guess it depends what you define as natural. I think we as a species have transcended the boundaries of nature.
We can flip it around if you like. Why do you think we feel intense love for another person, love for a child you have had with them and the desire to care for that child, if we weren't supposed to become attached and look after them until they are able to fend for themselves?
If we were supposed to go from one mate to the next without becoming attached and caring for them and the potential offspring, why do we have these feelings?
