so does anyone know what the quietest case is available? I need to know because get student loan next month and the case I have atm is really loud (thermalake tsunami dream) any advice - dont care on the cost.

any case can be made quiet to a certain degree, watercool your components and bungee mod the harddrives and the rest is down to how you like your case to look :)

hey - yeah, my case has a side fan a front fan and I think a rear... but they are so noisy I can hear the bassy humm through my floorboards downstairs!

got this for my hard drives http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SY-000-GJ for when I get the upgrade and everything (one small piece at a time lol)

I really dont have a clue on watercooling.... I'd probably get water over everything!

Get a fan controller, can't believe I used to put up with the noise before I got one. GFX is the noisiest.

yeah? are they any good though? I mean noise reduction is a top priority for me more than anything, but I dont want to sacrifice quality and such... I'll take a look now

hmm - its a nice case but the front panel i/o is more of a sidepanel i/o and where it will be going there isnt much room for that :( I like my i/o panel at the front or on the top >.< the reviews on it though all say its super quiet.... I just think it looks the chav of cases though lol

hmm other than the kandalf lcf does anyone know of any watercooled based cases? :) I've read that the kandalf is still pretty noisy for a water cooled case

wouldnt bother with the lcs, if your going to cool it do it properly and get custom parts rather than a pre built kit.

next case im going for is a V series lian li, can buy me one if you want ;):D

I think Im just going to get my own kit, I kinda got an idea of how to set them up and what to get now. now its just a matter of finding out how to find a case that will take the radiator and fans to mount up...

Ive had many cases last year or 2 and many many PC systems including the Eclipse 62/Antec 900/Aopen cases/Antec P182 and Lian li A70B, there pretty highend cases too.

But none I could really class as silent, they all had there flaws and weak spots the overall issue is if your even gonna spend £150 on a case like I did with the Lian li Case its still made out of Aluminium so noise is gonna leak and create noise.

I find solid Steel and thick panels dampen the noise excellent, and am sure a case with sound proofing would dampen it even more.

Im gonna check out the coolermaster Cosmos aka the most silent PC case ever soon, but from all indications it sounds as silent as a mouse Id bet its solid steel and soundproof make a perfect combo....

I think Im gonna get myself a cosmos... thanks for that dude, I just read a 13 page review on it and it looks solid. :)

I dont suppose you know how I'd attach a radiator ontop it? :S
