Hmmm, wonder if they'd fit under the bonnet of a Cerbera![]()
..besides, get some work done on it by trackcar solutions or austec, and it'll be plenty fast enough without the turbos![]()
Mine are recommended 6 litres minimum each, no provision for wastegate.
I was thinking along the lines of 6 cylinders in a long long line goodness. So either Jag straight 6 or BMW, it's just a question of what the hell do I put it in
But jus, 302 or baby 289 would be cool and more likely.
Penski,
Any idea where he got this from, in the back of mind something is telling me to 'do it' instead of chucking 300 - 400 extra of gas down its throat (which WILL get expensive) and if I can locate 2 identical units that are big enough for the amount of air an 8 litre moves (though in theory I need to calculate it as if it were 2 4 litres lumps)....I might be swayed(and if I can locate a pair....I can sell all the nitrous bits I have to progress things!)
Im assuming this is over on RR?
Edit - actually, if anyone knows a source of HX40 / HX50-55 / HX60 it would be appreciated, quick bit of digging shows the 35 running out of puff on a 302, so at a minimum im looking at the 40 / 50 but would prefer the 55 / 60......now to try and locate a cheap source for a matched pair!!!!
These are quite commonly used in the US when turbo charging Honda B series engines![]()
Yup - from RR.
I'd presume he got it from a scrappy. Best place to find out where to get a bigger one would be to ask holset/cummins what the OEM applications are/were...
...That said, one of the guys on RR works for them so he may know
A pair of 35s should be fine for an 8 litre...er...eight.
500bhp each...More than enough to scare yourself
