X-Factor Winner?!

At the end of the day, the result sums up why the show is a load of utter tripe. The most generic, bland person won the contest. More of the bloody same. Again. I think that speaks volumes about what it fosters in the "music" industry.

At least Rhydian was somewhat different. But no, he didn't win, probably because of hairstyle. :rolleyes:
 
Couldnt believe leon won, turned straight off once it was announced, Rhydian for me was a far better performer and his voice was far better in my opinion.

Cant change whats happened, wont be taking any interest in leons music, I look forward to Rhydians album though.
 
Rhydian was by far and wide the best act on there, but Leon, I think, scored points from having Kylie singing with him and not as a result of his own talents...

I am sure Rhydian will be around for years to come and have a very very succesfull career, it is just a shame he had to be beaten by someone who cannot even sing in tune half the time :/
 
Rhydian was easily the most talented.

I'm Scottish and a bit embarassed that we all seem to have voted for him purely for that fact and not his ability which is questionable. ah well give him his five minutes.

Did you hear her sing Snow Patrols run in the live lounge. She slowed the song down so it lasted about 5 weeks. The most boring song i've ever heard. I almost fell asleep at the weheel of the car. Yet all the way through I couldn't get over how great her voice was but it was just dull.

I doubt very much she has longevity.

She will be huge... with people like Whitney wanting to personally mentor her it's likely she won't fail at all and will be a worldwide star.

As for her cover of Snow Patrol... I loved it personally.
 
Leon won because hes young, good looking, average voice and is a crowd favourite.

With makeup, voice editing and the right song, he'll do alright. Christmas number one and then Leon who?

I will disagree with all of that except for the young bit. His looks don't compete with Justin Timberlake or even Shayne Ward and his voice isn't even average. He is just a really bad version of Ray Quinn which is saying something.

Ask most girls, they'll say he is good looking, hehe.

His voice is different, some songs he does well on others are terrible.
