Going to the pub on xmas day

Drove past our local pub today, and what did i see like 5 ppl waiting for it to open :rolleyes:

Who would in there right mind would go out on xmas day to the pub. Its about staying in with your family, it made them look right spanners.

Maybe some people aren't fortunate enough to have close family/friends to spend xmas with?

Perhaps they've got friends to see at the pub? If they spend a lot of time in there, they could be close friends.

haha, im sat at work, and I think my lot are just having dinner, I gotta wait till I get home, Mom is making mine in a seperate tray though, really nice of her..

We sometimes pop down the pub for a couple while the dinner is getting made, just the men. Quite a good laugh normally, im sure quite a few people do that so i cant see that being sad

I guess some people have no family and/or just want to escape Xmas television and treat the day as a normal day with friends.
