Hotfix is the latest.

LOL. It's very hard to trust reviews anymore, this thread proves this.

Not just yet, but watch this space.
CoD4 ran smoothly 8xAA 16xAF on my 8800GT anyway, so i'd expect it to run really well on the X2. Probably 16xAA, but i'll have to try it to confirm that.
So what is the current verdict driver/OS wise.
Am I better off sticking with XP, or using Vista for the X2?
I know the normal crossfire drivers tend to be better in Vista X64, they are the only ones with working Crossfire in Crysis.
But what about the X2?

Best of sticking with XP imo, judging by those benchies from forn.
That looks a cracking card above, im really getting tempted now.![]()
been doing the 'must resist' act all week myself ><

With the same CSS settings as Tom - I get 225FPS. Surely his should be a lot higher?
Using vista 64 BTW.

Yeah.
I keep saying to myself, no give it a couple of months, few more driver sets, but im starting to buckle.![]()
.Go on Loadsa, get one. You've spent too much time on the Dark side and we all know what happens to the death star.
The graphics on the plastic enclosure of the Sapphire looks a lot better than the plain red casing. They should have made the plain red casing X2's in the hot rod fashion again as my 2900Pro is pretty groovy. The Sapphire one looks more pleasing to the eye though.
Don't think many ATi cards 'bundled' with CoJ actually arrived with it. I've heard a few reports of no games received. Maybe stock levels were low.it should be bundled with CoJ if you purchased from here

But i did get a full version of 3DMark06, lol.
