Wow, that's poor if they're headliners. Metallica, GnFnR, Linkin Park last year....no comparison really.

What a load of rubbish! I'm sure as hell not going if they don't improve the lineup. There's no reason why they couldn't of had Metallica or Rage there, they're touring Europe around the time of download.

Woh chillax. Thats 4 bands that have been listed not the final lineup. I dont think they would release big names so soon. It's good to leave them till later.

. I've been to the last 4 and got them all confused. Either way, I know that last years headliners were better than that! Just looked it up, and aside from My Chemical Romance, last years headliners were better already. I think the only saviour would be RATM. Year before was better, which is what I got confused with; tool, 'Tallica and GnR. Though to be honest, tool and Metallica are my fave (ish) bands so no comparison for me, this year.

I'm afraid that's as big as they're going to get. Well the mainstage headliners at least. They're not gonna be putting bigger bands underneath them, so that rules out Metallica and Rage. I've been for the past 3 years, and unless they pull something amazing out of the bag this year i'm not going for my 4th year on the trot.

I seriously can't see the headliners pulling that mant people in. The lost Prophets are lame, and the Offspring and Kiss are well well past their days.

It's been rumoured they are the headliners. There's nothing confirming that.

It would not be the 1st time that the headliners have not been announced 1st. They did it a couple of years back with The Prodigy if you remember. Maybe I'm being optimistic but I really hope they have a rabbit sat in the hat waiting to be pulled out otherwise this will be the 1st Download that I won't attend.

Haha, excellent! shame they didn't realise this before touring with Arch Enemy and Machine Head. They come across as complete t**** in interviews and blame their sloppy playing on being drunk, ooh I love dragonforce me.

How about the download homepage? It's an amazing coicedence that the kiss logo has the same colour scheme as the other two logos.Also efestivals have been right with headliners ever since i've been going download.

Yeah I see what you mean and if Kerrang are correct then there is only one more head liner to be announced. Fingers crossed its a good one. But no doubt there will be so many smaller bands I want to see that it will make up for it.

IF the the 3 rumoured bands are indeed headlining, it will be the worst Download EVER as I can't see Offspring and Lost Prophets pulling in more than 10000 each, it will be as bad as last year when My Chemical Romance headlined, that was a mistake, and doubling that mistake this year could be the end of Download. I certainly won't be going.

Kiss I can kind of understand but I personally don't like them. They would be an ideal Saturday headliner but Judas Priest would be better IMO though.

I was hoping for Iron Maiden again, after they hinted at returning this year at the end of last year's show. Metallica with a new album on the way would also be ideal.

Edit: I'm actually hoping that they have only announced the second stage headline acts so far, however unlikely that is.
