16GB iPhone - Out today!

Why would you want £14 of his horrible grubby pieces of paper when you could have my beautiful shiny strong penny?

Because I haven't a clue what the hell was on offer - and when someone offers a bid price, I'd just top over it, just to have a go... :p

So what the heck is a iPhone "legacy"?

He meant an older 8GB model.

I'll probably sell mine and get the 16GB just to say I have the latest :o

Going to win the lottery first?

I'm sure it'll be at least that spec in about 2 years time? Just look at iPod Classic's progression over the 6 generation - Apple has also shown their willingness to work the price to be competitive (to an extend).

The iPhone must first be able to work as a phone (with full messaging capabilities like my W880i) and have a more decent contract before it'll get my money and loyalty. My £26 a month T-Mobile Flex (£180 phoning credit) cannot be beaten by that O2 contract. Not even close, even after their recent increase in tariff.

The iPod classic hasn't really progressed quite that quick. :p

I think the classic developed more in the last 2 generation (4-6) than the 4 before it. Smaller HD, colour screen, video, coverflow, search.

Why is the 32Gb Ipod on the front page of apple UK but not available in the store?
Wanted to know how much it is. My guess is £100 on top of 16gb price.

I am guessing at £349 would be the price, which would still be a bargain as the 16G is £70 more than the 8G for extra 8G. So if it comes in at £349 it'll be £80 more but 16G more memory.

Dammit, just got a 16GB one last month thinking a larger one would be at least 6 months down the line :(

Ah well, 16GB iPhone, thatll be me getting one of those when my contracts up, thankfully thats not for another 9 months or so.

£350 makes it a niche product imho. Most people just will not pay that. I am not most people however :D

Try last friday !:(

Oh well, at least they didn't bump the 16G to 8G prices and put the 32G at £269, then I would REALLY be ******.
