Foglights - a lost cause

Fogs don't bother me as much as people leaving the lights on full beam. I do a lot of darkness driving and it happens so often on my journey to work it's beyond a joke. I see them coming I can dip mine but they wait until they are 30 metres from my car.

I don't know if my eyes have gotten more light sensitive or headlights have got much brighter/badly adjusted but i'm regularly getting a eye full. Nothing I can do about it though.

This is now a foglight pimping thread, GO :D.

I can see how they could be blinding to some people but they don't seem to affect me at all. I don't get annoyed that people use them when its not foggy, if they think they look "cool" thats fine by me. I never use them myself as i don't see any need to, unless its foggy that is.

This topic just reminded me about driving home earlier in the week, it was past dusk and I was driving through one of those traffic calmed sections of road with the islands along the way to make it single carriageway. Anyway there was a car coming from the opposite direction with no lights on apart from its foglights.

no lights on apart from its foglights.

bet that looked cool:D theres a lad round here, hes acutally taken out his side light bulbs so he can just have the foggies on. i'd love to torch his car one night, preferably with him in it.

Thread bump but I just thought I'd point out that its pretty foggy here in the south east today and Ive just been out to find that some people have no foglights on, or in some cases, absolutely no lights on whatsoever. It seems it's only cool to sue foglights when it's not foggy for some people then

Damn it was foggy down south too but I clean forgot to turn on my driving/fog (not too sure if they are driving or fogs) lights today.
