For anyone who used to play any of the DeltaForce series (my self playing all of them :D)

http://www.novalogic.com/

Decided to see what the ol' novalogic are up to these days, and came across that new index page! a new DF game! woopa!!!

cant wait..

more info to come as i find it

wow.... i wondered when they would get there act together lol.just been playing jops and it still kicks ass.and surprised there is still a few people who play it still. But that has made my day:D:D

Heh, was looking at their website a few weeks back wondering what had happened to them! Well, there we go, wonder if it'll use Voxels? :D

Excellent, used to love the DF games. Me and a load of mates used to play DF1 over a LAN, was a lot of fun. Hopefully Novalogic can produce something good, not sure what they can do for the genre though, think the Battlefield and Rainbow Six/GRAW series have covered most things.

Its been a long time since i've seen any sort of game from them. Didn't think they were still going, but glad to hear they are now. Look forward to seeing something of this new game. :)

Haha, used to play DF2 at 480x320 resolution (or something like that). It had some sorta dodgy graphics engine that no cards supported.

That said, even at such a low resolution, at roughly 20fps and with a 56k modem, it was still loads of fun.

M249 SAW Baby!

I love the DF series. Played Land Warrior online the most. Just a great fun shoot 'em up game. I loved the fact that on most maps you didn't even need to take your finger off the mouse button, as everywhere you looked was another guy to kill.

I just hope they are going to imitate Battlefield 2 or similar. Keep it old school please.

"Longbow" wasnt that one of the single player chars names on DF:LW :P

DF2 was immense until the cheaters came with their fly cheats whilst firing off 1000 LAW's and grenades xD

I too loved DF2. It was amazing how big the maps are, and with the voxel technology used for the grass, you could actually hide in it. I have fond memories of massive online games and working my way to a position to snipe from.

agreed..the maps were massive and i just hope they keep it that way rather than cod style. And for the graphics well they couldnt be as bad as delta force extreme which was very bad.So lets just hope and prey:D p.s bring back the claymores..

wooooop DF :D

been a long time comming, Nova said they have been making a new PC game for the past few years but never gave out any information, after posting their other titles to console I hope this is a new PC game finally.

well i hope they actually made their mind up about the name, this image was on the site for a day:

then they put the Angel falls one up:

IMO they dropped a nut after DF2, LW was a blast but they went from the MS Paint gfx of DF2 (but at least you could hide and was a perfect sniper game), to open terrains that looked liked melted crayons. they would have been better ramping up the res of the df2 voxel engine :D

tbh i'm expecting anything too exciting unfortunately :(

we'll add the game to the site and support it regardless: http://www.novahq.net/ (shameless plug) :o

awesome, DFLW was the first game i ever played online, and BHD kept me entertained for years, used to have a 75% headshot ratio at the time i quit playing BHD, the grenade launchers annoyed me to much though

jops was crap :(
