Why would you have an unfair advantage with a barton and 9800? Doubt you would its even slower hardware, its no 8800.

If i was to game vs a player with a 2800 barton in other words when you play vs players with worse pc's thats a unfair advantage.That was the point i was trying to make there are lots of unfair advantage's.
I just cant see how ANYONE can tell him how he should game with a pc hes spent his own money that simple.

Not really, if your pc cant run COD4 you have to upgrade, but on a powerfull rig there is no reason to run on low settings.
Its a forum, if no one is allowed to disagree or say anything then why bother even joining a forum...
You can run the game at whatever setting and resolution you like, its got nothing to do with hardware.
I run the game all LOW @ 1680x1050, people will play this game for different reasons, some play competitively, some play for fun or even both. If running the game at lower settings gives you an advantage for competitive play why wouldn't you use it?

disagree of cause but read some of the post's your supporting not everyone says i would not more of you should not.Is that not telling him what he should do with a game he brought and a pc he made. Like i said a unfair advantage comes in many forms If you want to be fair play the game out the box and everyone on same spec pc.And thats only ever going to happen at lans comp..

The monitor can't even display near 333fps... mine only does up to 90.
Stop trying to be l33t by copying what people say pros do thinking that you will suddenly improve because to be honest, gaming at 333fps isn't going to make the slightest bit of difference to you k/d ratio

What he means is, sure your gpu is pumping out 333fps, but your monitor cant do 333fps. You only see so far, some monitors dont even go over 60, I'm not talking about Vsync.

What I mean is, I was not refering to Vsync, basically saying, no monitors do 333fps.
Well I've played CSS and I dont see any difference in that at any playable frame rate, framerate should not effect in game mechanics unless you've got 20fps.
I'm only talking about CoD games here.
The sooner you realise these guys are better than you because its what they get paid to do the sooner you can stop trying to get this so called "advantage".
