Just have to echo the comments above - the series is brilliant, I've watched it several times now and never ceased to enjoy it through and through.
Was a real real shame that they ended it so soon, and from what I've read there aren't any plans currently to continue the series although Joss has said he does have ideas for what he wanted to do with it so it *could happen*
It's the bloody networks that ruin these shows, all they are after is the viewer figures, and if said show doesn't bring in the millions of viewers in its first few episodes (which were shown in the wrong order :/) then they deem it a failure ...
Whereas Firefly has now built up a HUGE fanbase that I can't see Fox (or whoever it was that axed it) ignoring forever!
What I love is that they got Adam Baldwin to host "Done the Impossible: The Fans' Tale of 'Firefly' and 'Serenity'" ... which shoes that even the actors are that interested in the whole idea of the series that they'll support it even if they're not making anymore for the foreseeable future.
