Is the Q9450 really in stock on the 10th?

Who knows but there are already inflated price of the Q9450 with some places charging close to £250 and others between £200 - £220.

If they are in short supply like the E8 range then as we have seen the prices could go up and up as some etailors are doing.
 
It really depends on the supply of these c1 stepping chips. I would imagine by the end of Q2 they'll be settled down and supply will have met the initial demand.
 
Got my 9450 on pre-order from over here (NL), they told me on the phone they are expecting them between 10th and 17th. Different country I know, would have thought it would be similar across Europe though. Got it for a tasty £189 aswell :)

Only problem I have is, since ordering my parts, the total has dropped by 110 euro. Gutted....oh well, price you pay for pre-ordering. LOL

thats why you wait until they are in stock, do you relay need to be the one of the first to upgrade, or could you just wait an extra week
 
No I can't actually wait. Heading back to the UK on the 22nd and want to build the new system with my old man... you know, bit of father and son bonding an all :D Had I have been going later I would have waited.

Also...getting married towards the end of the year.....closer I get to that, more chance the missus won't appreciate spending a wedge haha.
 
Just had a response to my webnote about my pre-order and they said they have no expected ETA at this time. Despite up until this morning it was supposed to be today.
 
suprise suprise, OcUK did not recieve the CPU's last night, and they also informed me that they would not recieve these CPU's until the end of the month........ LOL NICE1
 
Very disappointed.
If they are truly not in stock till the end of the month, I'm going to consider cancelling and just getting a 6600.
