The urge to buy something you really don't need? Practically twitching here thinking of snagging another 3870x2 to crossfire it. But at the same time its not really something i need or going by most benchmarks would even see any benefit from (beside peenmark).

:mad::confused::eek:

Too many times...

But 3870X2 crossfireX is just a bit too over the top unless money is no object.

Just imagine all the hassle of receiving it from city link it will put you right off I think :p

LOL, You sound like some kind of junkie, would you mug somone if you seen them carrying a x2 down the street:D

I realy want upgrade my card so i think i know what you mean, - the twitching of course, but you may be on to somthing here like some kind of upgrade addiction maybe.
Do you feel any sort of anxiety ?

There is definately some kinda of chemical reaction in the brain to buying stuff, shiny new kit or whatever, seeing it, pondering it then buying - the anticipation, the wait - then half the time its a let down or dies within a few months so you feel like a right tit!!

Buy some extra cooling stuff, see if you can lower your temps - might cost less than another X2! And you still get "Mmmmmmmm shiny..."

Not quite that bad :p

Just one of those things, you hear about it then read up on it, then hear some more and it gets interesting. Next thing you know you're mulling over it.

Hate impulse buying though, bought a ps3 on an impulse buy and it just gathered dust.

Just get a single 3870 and go TRi Xfire, that'll be best, 4th GPU is wasted as the increase from 3 to 4 cards is nothng, so you'll just be wasting money, 2 to 3 is a bigger gain. :)

Dunno what to do now, just might not bother as everything is running well, plus id rather be clear of credit card debt for the time being. (untll r700\g100 time) :p

I got the urge to buy an 8800GT, did I need it? nope, E6600, did I need it? nope, 4gig ram, did I need it? nope. lol

imagine this,

A man walks into AA and says,

hello my name is Gerard (voice breaking) and im a.... im...a... Techno homo
and bursts in to tears
then a 17 stone alcaholic bricky stand's up... kicks him in the stones and
throws him through a window.

I think your all sick. I mean, why Buy something if you don't need it.

Sure, I've just sold my 3rd comp and the second comp with X-fired HD3850's in hasn't been switched on in about a month, but that doesn't mean....

...oh, wait.....

:(
