Clarkson may get points for talking on mobile...

Isn't whether he was moving or not a moot point? I thought it was illegal to use a mobile even with just the engine running?

Yes, but that makes the Adam Blake even more of a sad case of "look at me!". It's hardly news is it?

I wonder if I videoed the barried up Impreza that rocketed round a mini roundabout without giving way or even slowing whilst the driver chatted away on his phone this morning. Would they make that into a published story? I doubt it.

if my K850 cant take a panned picture of a kart at 30mph without blurring the background even on sports mode there's no way some average camera phone most likely a pink motorola (yes I'm generalising, what of it) can take a picture that good moving at 70mph

The whole point of panned photo is to blur the background ;)

I'd like to see the calculation behind this please.
There is no calculation, simply 5 years of Motorsport photography experience.

She grabbed her phone and took a picture of him. We couldn't believe we'd caught him out.

what a ***ing moron. why the hell would you take such pride in that.

No swearing

Gilly

You'd need some excitement in your life too if you were a recruitment "consultant".

"Employ more people"

:p

I hope it backfires on them to be honest. Ok he shouldn't have been on his mobile but would they have bothered taking a pic if it was not Clarkson and they couldn't make a fast buck?

Exactly. They just want their names in the paper and some money. I see people on the phone whilst driving but I don't try and take photo's and then pass it on to the police, what total t**** they are for doing that!! Like they have nothing better to do. Just because it was a celebrity. They need to get a life.

What kind of Merc is that?

A digital photograph from a random person of a stationary car with no license plate visible, will not be liable to an investigation of any sort.

OMG! A Photo of a curly haired person in a green car using a phone!

Quick, Arest Jeremy Clarkson!

Can see it now:

"Uk police start a nation wide search to find and arrest all curly haired men who own both a green car and a mobile phone, in a bid to find the true identity of "The Green Car Chatterbox!"
