Mine was the Cream Reunion concert at the Albert Hall, Tuesday 3rd of May 2005.

Never thought I would see the day they would play again. :):):)

What are yours?

At the moment mine is tied between Damien Rice at the NIA last year (I was almost at the front, brilliant gig) or Mono at Corporation, Sheffield - Corp is only a small venue and Mono are such an epic post-rock band, it was absolutely mind-blowing. And they played for about 2 + 1/2 hours!

Although I'm seeing Mark Knopfler at the NEC later on this year, with a front row seat, that could win it for me! :)

Dave Matthews - had been a fan of his band for years but they never toured in Europe (while I knew of them anyway). Eventually he came over on his own to a small student union in London and played an acoustic set. Really intimate - the Americans, who were used to seeing the band playing stadiums, were on the phone to their mates saying 'oh my god I can nearly reach out and touch him' etc. Excellent night.

Epica/Sengir - London 2004
Ashes You Leave/Encryption - Wondelgem, Belgium 2004
Closterkeller/Moonlight/Delight - Katowice, Poland 2004
Metal Female Voices Fest II/III - Weize, Belgium 2004/2005
Epica/Asrai - Oss, Holland 2005
Fates Warning - London 2007
Riverside - London 2007
Symphony X - London 2008

Reading Festival 2004 was the first gig I'd ever been to, not a bad way to start!

Most memorable single gig was Regina Spektor at the Astoria in Feb 2007.

Monsters of Rock 1987, Metallica, Anthrax and the mighty Dio:cool:
Monsters of Rock 1988, G'n'R rocked so hard 2 people died:(

Most memorable though is easily MoR 1986, Bad News were so bad it was quality, Ozzy wasnt bad either:D

Bah, I'd have done anything to get to one of those dates. :( Was Tuesday the day when Clapton was wearing a short sleeved shirt?

The most memorable performance for me would be any of the four Tommy Emmanuel concerts. All were blowing, but the first was just simply mind blowing. When I think back to it, I just wish I could re-live the night. It was Halloween, 2003. Actually, thinking back to it, that was easily the most inspirational, influential, and flat out fantastic concert I've ever been to.

Bloc Party at the Concorde 2 in Brighton last year. Was absolutely astoundingly good.

Others include Air Traffic at the Electric Ballroom and Jimmy Eat World at Brixton.

Airbourne - shuger mill, only because it was a couple of weeks back ;) it was still awsome though.

I was at the SUGAMILL and they were awesome.
It was like watching 3 Angus's on speed but funnily enough they rock way more than ACDC ever have.

Get your arse up the Oxford Arms tonight, my bands there.

Why'd you even post then? ;)

I really want to but theres people on here who will have a go.

26th January 1997 - Green Day - Manchester Apollo

First ever gig (was into the Hacienda scene before then), was mind blowing. Even better was getting to have a beer with the band afterwards in a little pub behind the Apollo and getting a signed pair of drumsticks.

Best gig - Muse 2004

Best Concert - Spice Girls this year... I only say this because we had the BEST tickets I have ever had at a concert.. right at the front near the catwalk and all my pictures were brilliant :p

Only been to about 3 gigs.

Trivium
Boardmasters (The Subways, FFAF, ASH)
and The Get Happy Tour.

They will always be memorable not for the music but for the people I'm with or what happened that night. Download festival will be the same as I am meeting up with long time online mates.
