I hope this isn't seen as a medical thread, if it is, please lock.

Anyway, is it possible to break your arm but still be able to use it, but it just aches a lot, and for a long time?

Go see the doc mate - it's possible to have a fracture and still use your arm, painfully.

Fair enough. For a small fracture would they put plaster on it?

I have this works event at the David Beckham Academy on the 11th of April and I don't want to miss it and not be able to play if I have plaster on :(

if you go now then about 3 weeks is a good recovery! so go docs! NOW :D

i broke my wrist back when i was at college climbing a lamp post and falling down and I was still using it to write until the end of the day, kind of ached a little but not too bad like, then i noticed how big it had swelled and found out i had broke it at a&e a few hours later.
Go see a doc.

What did you do to it that makes you think it might be broken / fractured?

I play in goal for a Saturday league football team. Long range free kick was launched towards me, high in the air. It was very windy and I misjudged it (it literally started going back towards the freekick taker)

I jumped towards it to punch it, my arms were out straight and their centre forward got there before me and banged into my arms, it felt like it kind of jarred my arm as it was dead straight.

Now I have this pain down towards my elbow, and it aches, especially in the morning. It really hurts if I put pressure on it as well.

They scored :(

when i crashed my bike 2 years ago, i Snapped the back of my ankle into 2 pieces, i had to have two 6 inch screws in my ankle,

BUT i never knew it was broke until i got into hospital, i was following my grandad in his car, and i went into a wall then hit a lamp post and the foot pedal went into the side of my ankle, and the force of the bike took the foot pedal through my ankle like it wasn't even there, i got up straight away, picked my bike up, put it on its stand, sat on it, then my grandad came back and said ''Dammit, were were nearly at the petrol station as well!'' thinking i ran out of petrol :D, it did start throbbing on the way to the hospital tbh, i had to keep my foot above my waste for 4 months  and mist the most important period of my education. theres another useless story for you ;).

Most horrible thing to have is a broken toe :D, doctors cant do anything about them, and they can be broke for ages, mine was broken for about 6-8 months, i think main reason didn't heal quick was because i was still playing for my local football team with it broke. yes, im a stupid boy.

im guessing the bit you missed out on was when everyone else learnt how to spell?!

either way OP, it is best to go to the doctors.

''OMG SPELLLINGZ NOT RITE OMGZ QUOTEZ NOWZZZZ!111!!!''

Save your keyboard, and tell me what i have misspelled ? because i honestly cant find anything, neither can spell checker.

and if you just bring one word up out of all that i written, im going to gladly laugh at you. and i will applause myself as i have been up nearly 24hours so only 1 mistake will be good.

I had a fracture in my wrist and i could still use it but painfully for a while and it was just swollen..

They put a cast on it for around a month or two, it wouldnt heal to start with so i had to keep it on for longer.

I broke my hand a few years ago (punched a wall lol). It hurt a lot but I still managed to clear out my dad's cellar throughout the day before finally going to the A&E. Wish I'd done it sooner though as it really did hurt carrying things all day :(

You've opened a can of worms there mate ;):p

I thought written was the correct word tbh.

EDIT: i edited it long back on that what you quoted me on mat :p, daven quoted me on ONE line and theres no errors in that line as far as im aware.
