Anyway, what is the worst that could happen if I didn't go to the doctor until after April the 11th? Seeing as there is no swelling it should be alright.

it is only pathetic because i am assuming you are a native english speaker. a native speaker should be able to understand the difference between "mist" and "missed" they are different words and have different meanings. also there is a difference between "your" and "you're".

His mistakes didn't detract from the meaning as you obviously new what he meant as you corrected him.
What is with all the grammar Nazi BS in the last few days.
the worst that can happen is that it is broken and then it somehow gets infected inside the bone and you have to have it amputated i guess.
either way how much effort is it really to see the doctor. the only reason you dont want to see the doctor is because he may give you bad news.
what is worse, bad news or a long term problem due to you leaving it too late?
it did detract from the meaning, it is only because i too am a native speaker did i managed to understand what he meant.
