OT: Not really, our government are way to lax with their spending, I also think the lowest dole age should be 21+, to force them into work at 17+.

The taxes are abysmal. Compared to some countries, they are low.

thing is we've been a developed country for a lot longer than any of them, I'd expect to have better hospitals than India.

I think it's the health & safety, nanny culture that I have the main problem with. With my lack of knowledge, it seems to be the thing that ruins everything else.

I don't have a problem with taxes, that's just the way it has to be. [stereotypical whining]I do have a problem with them (taxes) being spent on scroungers to buy their cider and lottery tickets.[/whining]

[petty]Maybe this is just a Scotland thing. Working near a hospital I see ambulances quite a lot, I can't be proud of a culture that's more concerned about keeping their car away from kerbs than doing everything they can to let an ambulance pass in an emergency situation.[/pettiness]
