"Singer" Pete Doherty is sent to prison

Do You Honestly expect me or anyone else to believe your 6 year old daughter is aware enough to have to be talked to about drugs.
Obviously she is not so why bring her into it.

My point for not liking these low lifes but in particular Amy Winehouse was that I had to lie when asked by my daughter why she was going to hospital (having seen her and entering a hospital)

You then suggested that I was wrapping her up in a bubble and not telling her of the "Real world" I then replied by pointing out that at 6, she has no need of knowing what the "real world" is.

Sorry if I don't share your enthusiasm for either of these people. The fact that they make the reputation on being drug addicts first and singers second is appalling.

This just shows how little you know & how little you have involved yourself in your daughters past time to me. If you had spent any time with her listening to Amy or watching a few videos of her live performances you would know she has more talent in her little finger than most of these bubble gum music makers young'uns listen to.
Why is it a big deal to say She is Ill. I'll tell you why because you know Nothing about the situation or the World around you. The fact is my friend Amy & Pete are ill, They Are sick, They Have Major Issues & these issues are present in todays society as they have been since the dawn of man.
There Issues may even be where there talent comes from, You Do not get the Soul that Amy has by having it easy, She Obviously has some serious issues going on as does Pete.
Jesus christ you are a parent & these are two young kids we are talking about, have you No compassion as a parent for there parents or for the two lost children that are wrapped up in the heads of Amy & Pete.
 
why are people so bothered about what Pete Doherty does?

i see so much hatred for him , why waste your energies on someone you dont even know

Just because you do like his music doesn't mean it's good. There's people out there who bought the Mr.Blobby and Chico Time singles, they made it to the top 10. Just because it's successful doesn't = talent

Yes, it is longer, for cannabis the maximum scentece for personal use, is 2 years.

Now go find me a single druggie who has gone to prison solely for possession and personal use, first, second or third charge, (without dealing quantities) which if you could be arsed to read isn't what he's going to prison for, what he's actually been sent for is for missing one appointment and being late for another on his rehab course.
 
They should have forced him into a drug clinic ie one that you cannot leave if you just feel like it, sending him to prison is not going to help him and solve his drug addiction problem.
I Feel sorry for the bloke, hope the people in prison aren't as heartless and unsympathetic as many of the people posting in this thread!!

music like art is subjective, what you like i may dislike , it does not mean it is good music or bad music

personally i dont like his music but i dont think it stinks, it must have some good qualities as people are buying it

You would love the college course I took last year - NCFE Cert In Drug Awareness.
My eldest daughter is doing it now and I hope to do level 3 with her later this year.

With All due respect mate I took the Course of Life, I am sure you get my meaning.
I willl say though Thank God there are people out there like your Daughter who is Obviously making herself aware enough to make a difference, Go her :cool:

I've been the same, Unfortunately as you grow older & life effects you inside you start to understand that there are different sides to every story.
Irl I hold up a coin & ask the person what they see.
They tell me Heads Malc.
I say Yes mate & i see Tails But we are both looking at the Same coin :)
