Here's a pic of my ZS :D

I like the look of these more and more every time I see them.

Saw a trophy blue one today parked outside work. Stood there for a few minutes having a gander lol :p :D

Huzeeee, that didn't have a Sprintex charger on it did it? And it wasn't converted by a lovely guy from a company called RSM?

Really **** Motors :D ;)

Yes it was a sprintex charger, however it was running some different internals aswell plus LPG believe it or not. It was built by a company called PTP as a demo car to show what they could do.

You do realise he has posted a picture of the engine giving up with a failed headgasket right?

Lies, Rover head gaskets are the best around. He's just showing a picture from a really cold day.

No I didn't. But I'm an idiot. Still think it looks good, minus the smoke :p

Going for a test drive now, girl who owns it sounds like a right chav. Ah well, nevermind :p :D

Dont buy a car from a female chav, seriously, it's asking for neglect..

I'm not going to buy it anyway.

it's £2.5k with 70k on the clock, I've seen lots of examples of the same year (02 plate) for around £3k with 30k. Only reason I'm test driving it is because it's the closest one to me :)

In a month or so when I'm in a position to buy I'll go hunting properly :)

EDIT: Haven't left yet as I'm waiting for Dad to come home to come with me :p

on the way home now (dads driving) - car was a heap, gearbox was going, wasn't cleaned, stank of weed and the passenger seat was rotting. But my god it was great!

Took it for a test drive up and down a long twisty road and the car handled fantastlcally, good power in all the gears, accleration was superb and it sounded great! (makes note of modifying exhaust)

Power delivery was so smooth! Lovely V6 engine, the noise was to die for.

The car is definately what I'm looking for. Plenty of grunt to keep me happy, AGW tells me it isn't hard to make them reach the magical 200 mark. Deffo the next car methinks :).

And that trophy blue...

makes me wonder how bad saabs and astras are to get such a glowing review

http://www.themgzr.co.uk/ is also worth visiting Phate.

Nope, but the review was of a tired example of car genrally considered to be alirght but nowt special.

Put next to his previous cars just anything probably feels awesome....

That's not what the reviews tend to say. They tend to say it's a great drivers car, with excellent handling, though too expensive at £17k new.

Buying them second hand, especially after MG Rover went under, is a ****ing great bargain. I got an 18 month old ZS 180 in mint condition with 9,000 miles on the clock for £7,200 from a main dealer. Pretty decent value for money.
