You're going to have to add a couple to that like Project Gotham series, Mass Effect and Fable series.
And they're only the ones I am personally interested in, never mind the rest.
You're right, the Wii is not in the same league. The Wii is dominating far too much to be considered in the same league

No you don't, your missing so many games on the 360 and PS3 that are multi-platform not to mention lots of exclusives on each.
The 360/PS3 lineup has far more games, apart from the Nintendo first party titles it's mostly junk. Banjo 3 isn't coming to Wii, it's coming to 360. Why would Donkey Kong come to the Wii when RARE work for Microsoft?

Despite the fact that personally I think ps exclusive games have become empty and carp since the last few years of the ps2's life and that based upon games I believe the 360 to be the better console I agree with that statement. The playstation brand is so strong to joe average punter it will inevitably emerge as no 1. Then again I don't care as ms are hardly going to go skint ala' sega and the dc and all the games I enjoy playing and indeed want to buy are on the 360 or pc, so I am happy, but will still occasionally try to incite flamewars.

I dont think he was trying to illustrate that each platform has many multiplatorm games, he was just saying that those games in particular are/have been exclusive to each console.
ie the main sellers and games you think of when you mention the company. It can also be differant for anyone you ask but the majority will usually give you a lineup.

Graphics are poor action looks basic and stale
Dull locations, gow had variety and well designed and challenging levels. MGS is a dead formula, snake eater was so overrated it was unreal, I nealry fell asleep playig it till i realised i was suffering from hype induced compulsion to carry on plying that pos then I binned it.

You don't have to try and convince me, I beta test the game and so do half of the people in this thread.

Anyway my point is mgs is overrated, a dead formula like Gran turismo and just about every other sony excluisve game. However this and the formidable sony hype machine means that inevitably in sales terms sony will triumph, if you are the sort of person who gains any satisfaction from the fact that 1 console may sell more than another then you need a life. You and your buddies may be all excited that you have been a beta key like thousands of others however it does not nullify the fact that mgs is absurdly camp, dull and overrated. And takes itself too seriously, I nearly vomited on the utterly absurdly pretentious storyline of mgs 2.
imo that's just what you think (its a forum I know) and you are in a minority. GT, MGS are good games. There is hype because they have always been good games.
