Silicon based life form mate ^^

Edit: why would they be grey? If they have evolved to the point where skin pigment is no longer needed, OR they have evolved to the point where their skin is much more resistant to U-V, radiation, wear + damage etc, i still dont get why it would be grey, why not black, or white, seems more likely. Or its just transparent like in The Abyss, and you can see all their organs.

Which generally means people see what they want. Or we where visited by aliens after such publications and they just happened to fly the same ships and look the same.

Anyone see the ufo documentary on one of the discovery type channels ages ago. They asked for volunteers, they had no idea what they where volunteering for. They then walked them past a taped of zone with some guards.
They then put an article in a newspaper which they all saw. Saying something like military find crashed ufo.

They are then interviewed and nearly all of them. Recited they saw armed guards in full uniform :rolleyes:

, and all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff.

Yes, the phoenix lights were flares. There was a program on it, they re-acted it and it gave the exact same effect as well.

I'm not sure we are/have been visited, but given the vast size of our universe, there has to something else out there :eek:

There have been reports of tribes in the jungle talking about small grey creatures that come in the night, they have never seen tv, newspapers or books, hell they didn't know white men existed until they where stumbled upon.

We even think we know where they come from, Zeta Reticuli.

I've seen a UFO many years ago, and I know what I saw was not from this world, no one will ever convince me otherwise, even to this day the memory is clear as day.

I believe that we are not alone in the Universe. Sometimes the vastness of space is just too large to comprehend. I have heard people use the analogy of the earth being the equivelant to one grain of sand on a beach. I just can't understand why we would be the only planet capable of supporting life.

Have we been visited ? I think we have looking at some of the evidence from older civilizations. My problem is that we don't have the intellectual capability to be able to navigate to other parts of our solar system quickly and efficiently. So why would be interesting for to beings who are able to navigate across space and time.

I've seen many.So have I,, I've seen many. One turned out to be a police helicopter with it's lights on. The othere's turned out to be sleep paralysis.
When you can't explain things you mind makes something up. The human mind hates uknowens. As for knowing where they come from, what a load of rubbish. As for people in jungles. There's only a few paintings which could easily be other things. The common disk and grey alien with large black eyes can be and have been shown to come from books.

doesn't need to be big to block a flair out. The bright light would make the stars around it unseen.

I believe the woman who fist drew that star system, drew a binary system and she believed she was abducted by Aliens, 30 years later we confirmed it was a binary system.

No that's you for thinking it's 100%. It's mathematically much more likely that there's thousands of occupied worlds. But there is a possibility however small there is no other life.

And most people have said they think there's other life, but it just hasn't visited us.

There probably is other life forms out there, but depending on size and what they actually look like is a different question.

I don't think we will have contact for a very long time yet (if we ever do), as we don't have the technology to A: look into space on large scale distances or yet alone pin point down a part of it so you can see it crystal clear on the surface, and B: Our space travel is still very limited that to get where our biggest telescope can look too would take far too long to reach.

Do I believe they have visited us? they probably haven't, but then again much like if god exists we don't really and truly know one way or the other *shrug*
