I'm speechless, after all this that 5meg patch has corrupted the patcher & it won't launch, anyone got any ideas?

If it kills your patcher then look into your AoC folder for ConanPatcher.exe.tmp and rename it to .exe then repatch.

PATCHER FIX:

Go to directory and rename: ConanPatcher.exe.2.temp to ConanPatcher.exe

It automatically restarts the download, guess they must have fixed the problem. I rebooted XP. worked fine now.

**** I just quit the game to check something and now its stuck on dloading patch info again. Well ive created my character and was in tortage for like a min or too so I'm happy enough. Got my first choice name too.
