i will next time, but my point still stands, if gerrard and alonso were good enough they'd be in the final, they werent.

at the end of the day liverpool are maybe a top four team at best you lot have delusions of grandour.

and would chelsea or man utd swap our midfielders for yours ? of course not. (thats why we were in the final and you werent ;) )
I'm not saying we deserved to be in the final. At the end of the day we where knocked out by Chelsea in the semi's, we where not good enough. But it was incredibly close.

However saying that it was Gerrards and Alonso's fault for "not being good enough" is pathetically wrong. They are apart of the team, and it was the TEAM that wasn't good enough. With that reasoning you can also say Messi wasn't good enough to be in the final. Basically your talking *******, or your just trying to wind-up ;)

Some Liverpool fans may be delusional in terms of what to expect (In league performance,) but I'm certainly not. Judging by this seasons performance, we're still a long way off ManU and Chelsea, and I can't see us catching up unless we bolster those weak areas in the team (primarily the wings.)

AMAZING - nothing else to say. Apart from a very very sore head this morning - i can see a very un-productive day ahead!!!

Still not seen Terry's penalty as i was covering my eyes as i couldn't watch it.

Thought my Dad was going to have a heart attack with all the drama!!!

Great season, great game and credit to Chelsea for a superb display in the 2nd half.

HAHA, I was just about to post that.

If it was down to me I would kick the **** out of Drogba & Terry. Drogba gets paid far to much moeny to ponce about & Terry gets paid far to much to miss a ******* spot kick. The pair of them should be Ashamed of themselves they have let me & the rest of Chelsea down.

All the talk about the ref is *****, We both had the same Ref ffs.
We lost, Our Players lost it for us, End of.

Are you kidding. His whole life has been given to him by Chelsea & he can't take a spot kick without falling over  If I was Roman them 2 wouldn't even get out of Russia alive.

Not meant to be for sure but in my mind we have nobody to blame apart from Drogba & Terry. Credit where it's due & a Slating when due as well. Drogba deserves nothing apart from a kicking & to think how much we have paid him over the years
Terry should just be ashamed off himself, He cannot call himself a Footballer if he cannot kick a ****** football without falling over, THE ****

I may be a little ****** off :D

You'd not have got to pens had he not made that clearance from Giggs. And it's not JT's fault the pitch was terrble, he wasn't the only guy to slip just the only 1 to do it during pens.

There was a lot of pressure on Terry's shoulders when he took the kick. His limbs mustve felt numb when he took the kick. I actually thought it was a miracle that he missed. I was totally shocked.

But, you cant blame him, as he didnt do it on purpose.

Now, Drogba on the other hand, slapped Vidic, on purpose. He couldve walked away when he felt himself losing control, but he chose to stay, argue and then slap the guy right in front of the the officials. He knew exactly what the consequences of his actions were going to be.

Perhaps Drogba felt he needed to go out in style - like when Zidanne quit France. Perhaps he will now quit Chelsea?

Imagine what must be going through his head now though. He had the chance to make history for Chelsea and he fluffed it. Must be horrible to live with if they don't get the chance again while he's there.

Yep. No matter how many times anybody says it wasn't his fault and that he saved them with that clearance, it's going to be with him untill Chelsea win it.

If they win it.

IMO, now is Chelsea's best chance to win it, with the financial support. We dont know what Abramovic will be doing in 5yrs time.
