OXM Grid 9/10

Personally I can't wait for this game to come out, the demo was awesome, I must have completed the muscle car track about a 100 times already, really fun game, Dirt left a bitter taste in many peoples mouths (although personally I enjoyed it) so I think it left allot of people wondering whether Codemasters code pull it off but from the first reviews coming in and my own personal experience from playing the demo I think they've done a good job, although I love the Burnout series I think the market was crying out for another decent arcade racer and I think GRiD is it.

So come on, whos getting this on release day ?

Handling sucks :| and the cameras.. omg this game is a huge fail thats getting high ratings ;S

Mixed feelings so far about this game. For pure arcade feeling the handling does feel odd, but i did find it quite fun after a while. But after owning both forza and pgr4, i don't think i'll pick this up untill i can find it cheap.

loved it, then i'm more of an arcade racing game player having fun than a sim player who then posts on forums picking the game apart for 50 pages because it doesn't "feel" right. This game was great fun, as was Dirt.

Handling is awesome.

Even as an arcade game, the handling is super poor. Burnout has good arcade handling, even PGR to a certain degree. Grid's is just bizarre, like it doesn't know what it wants to be.

Still, even after the demo I will play this, purely because I want to like it. I have a feeling after a week or so it will be collecting dust though :/

I enjoyed the demo.

I loved the multiplayer aspect of it when playing with decent players. Although found recently that more and more people are trying to play it like destruction derby which is spoiling the game.

It's a decent arcade pick up and play racer.

The demo looked great, but I didn't like the handling at all. I think I'll save my pennies for Ferrari Challenge :)

rental title for me, but then I'm not into driving games (unless I buy a wheel, just can't play em with a pad). The demo looked nice though ;)

if only the handling was good, cuz it sure as hell isn't...

i'll rent it and see how it fairs up but i've not got high hopes, i'd much prefer to be playing GT5P...

bring on GT5... which now has accident damage and a decent online mode apparently so it should be a right stonker :)

Funny how people complain about the handling.

Some mates and I have played the demo quite a bit, and found it to be excellent.

Pinch of handbrake, and slide it around the corners, punch the throttle and zip off again. Proper arcade fun.

I wasn't sure until I played the demo, but my preorder is in, and I can't wait.

I prefer it to GT5p.

Great fun, great handling, great graphics, and great crashes ;)

Oh, and I also have a copy of Haze in the post.
I guess people's tastes differ!

Vin.

Peoples tastes do differ you are correct mate, my most played game this year without a doubt is Williams Pinball Collection on the PSP, yet I bet it is nobody else's :)
